Kai Mira was borne from our love of textiles and traveling. The opportunity to combine these passions was irresistible.

We have engaged family and friends to create Kai Mira.

Kai Mira's name and logo come from the Greek mythological creature Chimera who was part lion, part goat and part serpent. Our spelling is derived from Kai, meaning water in Hawaiian and Mira, meaning marvelous in Latin.

Our styles are for women who appreciate the unique and exotic textures of the world. 100% silk is used for all of our jackets, vests and shells. We hope that you enjoy our original designs as well as the detailed workmanship used in their construction. The jackets, blouses, skirts and shells are all original designs. They are constructed in China. They pack beautifully, are easy to care for and are virtually weightless.
